Beginner Movement: Start Here
Movement does not have to mean joining a gym, playing competitive sport or completing an intense workout. Walking, dancing, cycling, active games, household activities and short movement breaks can all count. Health guidelines recommend that children and teenagers build towards an average of at least 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous activity each day, but beginners can start with smaller amounts and increase gradually. Some activity is better than none.
